Fax to Las Vegas Review-Journal, Attn:  Vin Suprynowicz

TO BE PRINTED

With reference to Anya Duke's case, I have read the 2 articles dated July 30, 2000 and August 13, 2000.  It is a complete injustice as to what happened to this lady during the bizarre proceedings.  She wasn't even given a chance to have her case completely heard by the jury.  The Judge's job is to make sure the two sides are playing by the same rules and keep the order in the courtroom, not to point out opportunities to call for dismissals on technicalities.  Judge Saitta appears to have done just that.  It amazes me how the result of this case seems to be so slanted!

Not only did Mrs. Duke lose her business and her life savings trying to have her case heard, but most importantly, she lost much of her vision to see sunshine, sunset, beautiful rain drops, blooming flowers, children playing and those things we take for granted everyday.

Mrs. Duke has displayed great courage and conviction fighting by herself against powerful lawyers on the doctor's side.  Mrs. Duke, keep fighting!  We are pulling for you!

Sincerely,

Ron Ventura, Philadelphia, PA
