ORGANIZATIONAL PHILOSOPHY

Redress, Inc., a 501c3 organization, maintains the core beliefs as follows:

HUMAN RIGHTS

Redress, Inc. believes that all human beings are imbued with inalienable rights to justice and fairness for all people, which supports:

  • Making free will choices which don't impinge on others' rights to choose;
  • Debating in society on issues of interest, providing that the respect to opposing points of view is always given;
  • Holding those in positions of authority accountable for any action which opposes human equality.

KEY POSITION

Redress, Inc. believes abuse results when one group of individuals attempts to impose political or religious viewpoints on another group of individuals against their will, that the misguided desire for control over others shall not be allowed to obliterate fairness for all; therefore, Redress, Inc.:

  • Does not attack other individuals or groups which hold points of view different than Redress' own, but will work steadily towards the creation of greater respect for all human beings;
  • Views all human beings as inherently valuable;
  • Does not advocate for groups by any label, but rather looks to individual issues within each group;
  • Works with various groups on specific issues upon which there is agreement, regardless of the way groups label themselves or are labeled by others, keeping in mind the higher goal of justice for all, and excluding all forms of violence;
  • Supports the viewpoint that a larger picture is available in society whereby society can accomodate people of differing belief systems and lifestyles.

GOALS

  • Working peacefully with other individuals and groups advocating for the accountability of authorities for human equality;
  • Working to create a system which allows for peaceful debate;
  • Striving to accomodate differing social, political and religious philosophies without endorsing any of them;
  • Supporting societal concepts of integrity in all matters through the use of accountability, honesty, respect, open communication and courtesy to others by those in public service towards those they serve;
  • Avoiding moral judgements on individual choices except to exclude any act of violence.

WORKING TOGETHER TO ATTAIN FAIRNESS
