ISSUES:   Opinions FOR Electing Judges

  • Steve Steckel, Las Vegas Citizen, Las Vegas Review-Journal Commentary, 12-23-02\
  • Idaho in 2003 attempted to pass Senate Concurrent Resolution #116 to relieve the citizenry from their ability to elect judges.  This effort, which was attempted by the Senate without real notice to the citizens, was defeated.  Instead, they have now commissioned a two-year study to review this issue.  Idaho citizenry is now on guard.
