ABUSIVE AUTHORITY RESULTS IN THE FALL
OF THE EMPIRE!
By D. Eukel - Las Vegas
Tribune, 06-06-02
We are witnessing the fall of the American "Roman
Empire."
For almost a year now, specifically since September 11th, I've been
engaged in conversations with various persons concerning the perceived
loss of constitutional rights.
Eighteen years ago, I asked in an editorial, "Is there a Watergate
around every corner?" Today, I think there's much worse going on
than Watergate. It has dawned on our thick brains that our
representatives care for us - about as much as a cockroach cares if we
think they are pretty.
Everywhere I look, I see civil rights being violated on a scale
that makes the cover-up of the Watergate break-in look like a crime as
minor as the swiping of a piece of candy.
UNLV police enter vehicles because they look messy inside, or
"burglarized" - so a memo describes, written by UNLV Deputy Chief Michael
J. Murray; an illegal search that the Dep. Chief
admits.
In North Las Vegas, a Code Enforcement supervisor ordered the
removal of hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of property, because
maybe he thought he was above the constitution and the law. Oh,
he'll probably tell you that he thought he was just following the rules,
but the truth is, these people don't seem to know what the rules are,
except the rule of force. He failed the "due process" clause in the
Constitution.
Another "due process" infringement, as well as loss of property,
on-going up in Elko, Nevada - the BLM has managed to "steal" cows from
ranchers who have been raising cattle since before the pale face and his
"army of one" came to this part of the country. The BLM say the
cattle were trespassing on federal land. They seem to have forgotten
a treaty signed over a hundred years ago, and reinforced in the 1940's,
which is still in force today. However, this document and the ones related
to it, have been interpreted by our illustrious Attorney General, Frankie
Sue del Papa, as apparently not worth the parchment it was written
on. And that seems to be the prevailing practice all over this state
and in others.
Judges make rulings on "non-existent laws," such as in the case of
Judge Nancy Saitta, where she granted the defense' motion for dismissal on
a malpractice lawsuit by Anya Duke against eye doctor Roger M.
Simon. The "non-existent law" seems to have been an 11th hour
reprieve for the doctor and his attorneys. This case has been
languishing in the system for over seven years and is a travesty of
justice.
As sweet as Nancy Saitta may be, she ought to be ashamed of
throwing a case out because she thought she was following the rules.
She should have known the rules, or had them explained before she
dismissed a case against a doctor who performed an unneeded "gas bubble"
procedure, which caused a woman's blindness. An appeal has been
filed and is now before the Nevada Supreme Court. Will they follow
non-existent laws also?
The FBI has now added "new rules" to the game in their quest to
both make up for the incompetence they are now known for, and the search
for "terrorists" who have threatened to destroy us all. They can go
into your temple, church or mosque; observe, and take notes, film and tape
maybe, just your every day, garden variety, invasion of privacy and if
they decide you should be added to a list they deem as "suspicious"
characters, you will then be scrutinized in every way
imaginable.
There are the abuses of CPS, which our own, Liz Gini points out
passionately. The overbearing and arrogant use of intimidation from
the IRS, which Irwin Schiff has fought against for many years, along with
many others. Frank Albano, another Las Vegas Tribune columnist, who
has harped on "chem-trials" and other "probably government conspired"
actions; or Steve Miller's bull-dog tenacity against criminals at the
Crazy Horse Too.
In those discussions I mentioned earlier, it usually led to the
subject of how and why "extremists" have managed to infiltrate our
restless, but fairly comfortable society. And most of these
'extremists' were not and are not "terrorists". They are a segment
of our society, which has been raised on "liberal-type-thinking" as though
it was the Wheaties they ate in the morning. And there are those who
believe the Constitution of the United States of America is being
usurped. Many are beginning to get downright angry and want the
violations of our civil rights to stop immediately!
There are those who find every reason in the book to fault
President George W. Bush and his cabinet. And you know what "PA" I'm
beginning to wear down, maybe they're right. Are they right Mr.
President? Have you gone along with the idea that a 'global economy'
is the only way to flourish? Or a military mentality, which has
permeated our law enforcement agencies like the SS of Adolph Hitler, and
is the way to control a growing restless society?
Well, Mr. President, I may be a bit naive, I still believe in your
leadership. I even think that GOD meant what HE said when he
informed all that understood - that it was HE who put kings on a
throne. And it is HE who shall remove them. You are there for
a reason Mr. President, just as I and my colleagues are here for a reason,
and if your reasons should clash with ours, in that you do not uphold the
principles of our constitution, GOD help you, because none of the people
you piss off will.
I still support you Mr. President, and i will continue to support
those who do not abuse their authority. But for you that do abuse, and
take for granted - you that enslave people by your tyrannical ranting -
that enforce unheard of and illegal rules - that abuse people and step
heavily on their rights, in whatever form, you're not going to last, and
you will not retain your leadership.
THE MEEK SHALL INHERIT THE EARTH!
See ya on the flip
side...
